4RARE PLANTS & WILDLIFE
ForestWatch works to enhance biological diversity by ensuring that land management activities are consistent with environmental laws and regulations designed to protect sensitive species and their habitats. We also work to restore degraded ecosystems.  MORE

ForestWatch works to protect wilderness values and supports the designation of additional wilderness areas in consultation with local communities.

FIRE & FUELS MANAGEMENT
ForestWatch works to ensure that vegetation and fuels management activities are focused on the wildland-urban interface while preserving wilderness habitat and fostering ecosystem health.

ForestWatch works to preserve sacred sites and areas of unique significance to the tradition and cultural heritage of the Chumash, Salinan, and other Native American peoples.

FOREST
RESTORATION

We're currently working with the Forest Service to identify several collaborative projects where we can use volunteers to help repair damaged areas.
